Throughout 2025, the Anarchist Black Cross Federation (ABCF) has continued to strengthen and build capacity. ABC chapters and allied organizations across the US and Canada put together 10 Running Down The Walls 5K events this fall raising a combined $17,572 for the ABCF Warchest Program. These events, along with the support of contributors like you, enabled us to once again consistently provide bimonthly disbursements to over a dozen Warchest Program recipients. Since its inception in 1994, the ABCF Warchest has raised almost $275,000 and at times has been the primary financial support for several political prisoners. As we head into the new year, we plan for 2026 to be chock full of solidarity, mutual aid, and freedom for political prisoners– we’d love it if you could join us in building capacity for these efforts.

Notably, just this year we added 6 recipients to the Warchest (Brian DiPippa, Agustin Pérez Domínguez, Agustin Pérez Velasco, Juan Velasco Aguilar, Martín Pérez Domínguez, and Hridindu Roychowdhury) increasing the volume of disbursements by about 1/3 and bringing the current recipient total to 17 comrades! As usual, we are actively involved in supporting defendants and ready to offer support in new cases as they unfold.
