Los Angeles Radical Landmarks
The Los Angeles Anarchist Black Cross has always been involved in uncovering the anarchist history of the greater Los Angeles area. As such in 2006 we formed the Black Rose Historical Society, an organization dedicated to uncovering the rich history of our community. The organization was a side project of the group but we have decided to separate it from the ABC in order to ensure our work is always focused on the political prisoners. However, the Black Rose is still very much alive and is still organizing the occasional tour, raising funds for unmarked graves of anarchists long forgotten and, as always, researching anarchist history.
